There are 2,794 Sikhs in Austria according to the Austrain government. Howhever many illegal immigrants are stranded in the country (and also its jails) which aren't official, so the actual number can reach 3,500. But those illegals aren't there to stay, but go to west-Europe. So still the 'active' Sikh population remains 2,794.
