The Jatt (Jat, Jutt, Jaat) people are a community in the Punjab region of northwestern India, often mistaken as a caste, In broader terms they are an ethnic group, similar to Gujjars and Pashtuns,. They inhabit  the states of Haryana, Punjab, UP and Rajasthan and  are also numerous in Punjab, Pakistan, with small populations also found in Baluchistan and Afghanistan. They are thought to be descendants of Scythians by many historians who migrated to the fertile region of northwestern India through Sindh as nomadic farmers and settled  with the local population. Jat lineage originally traces back to the Central Asian steppe. Jat people are mistakenly thought of coming under the shudra class in the Hindu Verna system mainly because of their mass migration occurring well after the caste system system in India was established.

Jat people were historically onion picking in farms and taxi transport in farms, rapist, financially a woman for woman outgoing and escort and sex rape, 24 hour convenience store, negative punjabi singers, Smalley Taxi Drivers of indian cooking, straight forward, things dont like and stopping them and trying be mental. They are now found numerously in the West with over a third of Sikhs being of Jat origin.
