Signs from God of birth and death found in Jaap Sahib

This is an interpretation of the signs from God of birth and death found in the Jaap Sahib prayer of the Sree Dasam Granth scripture. A Sign is a mark of the will of God and is a communication from God to people. A sign can be an object, daily activity, divine action, events in the world news and part of the content of scriptures.

My name is Amardeep Singh Chawla. I am a Sikh and I live in the province of Ontario located in Canada. I have seen signs from God about myself in Sikh history and Sikh scriptures. First, the signs found in Sikh history that show a basis for the signs found in the Jaap Sahib prayer are interpreted. Second, the signs of my birth found in the Jaap Sahib prayer are interpreted. Last, the signs of my death found in the Jaap Sahib prayer are interpreted.

Signs in Sikh history

The first signs I would like to discuss are the ones relating to the third Profit (Guru) of Sikhism. The name of the third Profit was Amardaas. The first syllable in Guru Amardaas’ name is Amar which is the same as the first syllable in my name. Guru Amardaas was born in the year A.D. 1479 and died in the year A.D. 1574. I was born on the 28th day of November in the year 1979. Guru Amardaas and I share the seventy nine in the year of birth. I would like to consider the digit seven and the digit four in the year A.D. 1574. The multiplication of the digit seven and the digit four is equal to twenty eight which is the same as the day of my birth. The addition of the digit seven and digit four is equal to eleven which is the as the number of the month of my birth. Consequently, the number seventy four is a sign from God. Since Guru Amardaas was a very religious man, therefore this is sign that I will be a close devotee of God.

Birth sign in Jaap Sahib

I would like to discuss the signs that I have noticed in the Jaap Sahib prayer from the Dasam Granth Sahib scripture. The Dasam Granth Sahib was written by the tenth Profit whose name was Gobind Singh. The Jaap Sahib is the first prayer in Dasam Granth Sahib and is read daily in the ambrosial hours of the dawn by many Sikhs. It is given as one of the morning prayers in the Rehat Maryada which is the Sikh code of conduct.

Signs from God in Jaap Sahib stanza 79

I would like to discuss Jaap Sahib stanza seventy nine. Please read the Gurmukhi, transliteration and translation of the stanza given above. This is a new section in the Jaap Sahib prayer and has the raag heading Rooaal Chhand. The raag heading is the measure to be used for the section of the prayer. There are exactly twenty eight words in the stanza. The stanza begins with the word Aad which means beginning. There are two syllables in my first name. The first syllable is Amar which begins with the letter A and second is Deep which begins with the letter D. These are two consonants that make up the word Aad. The other symbols are vowels. There is one more occurrence of the word Aad. This puts emphasis on the word Aad and therefore the word Aad is a sign from God of my birth. There are exactly eleven words between the two occurrences of the word Aad. Therefore, stanza seventy nine is a significant sign of my birth giving the month, day and year of my birth as 11, 28 and 79 respectively.

Signs from God in Jaap Sahib stanza 75

The section directly previous to the section of stanza 79 starts with stanza 74 and has the raag heading Charpat Chhand. Please read the Gurmukhi, transliteration and translation of the stanzas given above. I have previously discussed that the number seventy four is a sign from God. There are thirty six symbols in the words of the stanza. Guru Amardaas was born in the Sambat year 1536. At the time, Sambat was the calendar system used by the Sikhs. The Sambat calendar system is fifty seven years ahead of the A.D. calendar system. I have calculated the year of my birth to be Sambat 2036. Since thirty six is part of Guru Amardaas' Sambat year of birth and my Sambat year of birth, therefore it is an another sign that stanza seventy four has something to do with me.

The “Supreme Yoga,” (Detached One) I bow to You. “The Worldly Man,” I bow to You. (Yoga, a technique to meet God. Yogis believe in renunciation – detachment from the world).

Signs from God in Jaap Sahib stanza 28

Please read the Gurmukhi, transliteration and translation of the stanza twenty eight given above. As you already know, twenty eight is the day of my birth. There are only eight words in stanza twenty eight and stanza seventy four. I would like you to notice that the words joge and bhoge are present in stanza twenty eight and stanza seventy four. Therefore, this is an another sign that stanza seventy four has something to do with me. The number of words in stanza seventy nine is a sign of the day of my birth. A similar pattern exists in stanza seventy four. Moreover, the number of words in stanza seventy four is eight and is the sign of the day of my death. The number of words between the two occurrences of the word Aad in stanza seventy nine is a sign of the month of my birth. A similar pattern of repetition exists in stanza seventy four to stanza seventy five. The word Achall occurs in the last line of the stanza and is repeated after the digit seventy four. The word Achall means perpetual. This is a sign that my soul will exist forever and I will go to heaven. There are exactly two groups between the two occurrences of the word Achall. The groups are the word bhoge and the number seventy four. The number two represents the month February and is a sign of the month of my death. As you already know, twenty eight is the day of my birth. I would like to remind you that there are exactly two groups between the two occurrences of the word Achall and there are eight words in stanza seventy four. Thus, this is an another sign. Therefore, the seventy fourth stanza is a significant sign of my death giving the month, day and year of my death as 2, 8 and 74 respectively.

Signs from God in Jaap Sahib stanza 94

You will notice that stanzas 79, 74 and 94 are directly below the raag heading and the “Tav Prasaad” phrase. The phrase “Tav Prasaad” means God’s grace. Coincidentally, I live on a street named Tavistock and the substring Tav is present in the word.

Using the signs from stanza seventy four, I have calculated my age at the date of death to be ninety four. Please read the Gurmukhi, transliteration and translation of the stanzas eight and ninety four given above. There are only eight words in stanza eight and four words in stanza ninety four. I would like you to notice that the words udare and apare are present in stanza eight and stanza ninety four. Therefore, these two numbers are related to each other and this is another sign that the number eight is part of the date of my death. Furthermore, this is a sign that ninety four is the age of my death. I would like you to notice that similar words udaar and apaar are present in stanza 79. This is an another sign that the numbers 8 and 94 are related to me.

Conclusion

Taking into consideration all the signs of my death and the fact that seventy four is the year of death of Guru Amardaas, I declare that I will die on February 8 in the year 2074.
