Born at Hattian Duppata area of Muzaffarabad,Sant Singh Tegh Was associated with National Conference,Akali Dal and Janta Party at different stages of his political carrier. He was also the member of steering committee of People's Convention cövened by Sheikh Abdulkah in 1968.He Was also the general secretary of Gurudwara Chatti Patshahi,Kathi Darwaja,Rainwari,Srinagar
