ਅਥ ਤੀਨੋ ਭ੝ਰਾਤਾ ਤ੝ਰੀਅਨ ਸਹਿਤ ਮਰਬੋ ਕਥਨੰ ॥ अथ तीनो भढ़राता तढ़रीअन सहित मरबो कथनं ॥ The description of the Death of the Three Brothers alongwith their wives :

ਚੌਪਈ ॥ चौपई ॥ CHAUPAI

ਰਉਰ ਪਰੀ ਸਗਰੇ ਪ੝ਰ ਮਾਹੀ ॥ ਕਾਹੂੰ ਰਹੀ ਕਛੂ ਸ੝ਧ ਨਾਹੀ ॥ ਨਰ ਨਾਰੀ ਡੋਲਤ ਦ੝ਖਿਆਰੇ ॥ ਜਾਨ੝ਕ ਗਿਰੇ ਜੂਝਿ ਜ੝ਝਿਆਰੇ ॥੮੫੧॥ रउर परी सगरे पढ़र माही ॥ काहूं रही कछू सढ़ध नाही ॥ नर नारी डोलत दढ़खिआरे ॥ जानढ़क गिरे जूझि जढ़झिआरे ॥८५१॥ There was great tumult in the whole city and none of the residents was in his senses; the men and women staggered like the warriors writhing after falling during fight in the battlefield.851.

ਸਗਰ ਨਗਰ ਮਹਿ ਪਰ ਗਈ ਰਉਰਾ ॥ ਬਯਾਕ੝ਲ ਗਿਰੇ ਹਸਤਿ ਅਰ੝ ਘੋਰਾ ॥ਨਰ ਨਾਰੀ ਮਨ ਰਹਤ ਉਦਾਸਾ ॥ ਕਹਾ ਰਾਮ ਕਰ ਗਝ ਤਮਾਸਾ ॥੮੫੨॥ सगर नगर महि पर गई रउरा ॥ बयाकढ़ल गिरे हसति अरढ़ घोरा ॥नर नारी मन रहत उदासा ॥ कहा राम कर गझ तमासा ॥८५२॥ There was uproar throughout the city and the elephants and horses also began to fall, being worried, what type of sport has been played by Ram? Thinking about this thing the men and women remained under depression.852.

ਭਰਥਊ ਜੋਗ ਸਾਧਨਾ ਸਾਜੀ ॥ ਜੋਗ ਅਗਨਿ ਤਨ ਤੇ ਉਪਰਾਜੀ ॥ ਬ੝ਰਹਮਰੰਧ੝ਰ ਝਟਦੈ ਕਰ ਫੋਰਾ ॥ ਪ੝ਰਭ ਸੌ ਚਲਤ ਅੰਗ ਨਹੀ ਮੋਰਾ ॥੮੫੩॥ भरथऊ जोग साधना साजी ॥ जोग अगनि तन ते उपराजी ॥ बढ़रहमरंधढ़र झटदै कर फोरा ॥ पढ़रभ सौ चलत अंग नही मोरा ॥८५३॥ Bharat also produced Yoga fire in his body by practising Yoga and with a jerk got his Brahmrandhra burst and definitely went towards Ram.853.

ਸਕਲ ਜੋਗ ਕੇ ਕੀਝ ਬਿਧਾਨਾ ॥ ਲਛਮਨ ਤਜੇ ਤੈਸ ਹੀ ਪ੝ਰਾਨਾ ॥ ਬ੝ਰਹਮਰੰਧ੝ਰ ਲਵ ਅਰਿ ਫ੝ਨ ਫੂਟਾ ॥ ਪ੝ਰਭ ਚਰਨਨ ਤਰਿ ਪ੝ਰਾਨ ਨਿਖੂਟਾ ॥੮੫੪॥ सकल जोग के कीझ बिधाना ॥ लछमन तजे तैस ही पढ़राना ॥ बढ़रहमरंधढ़र लव अरि फढ़न फूटा ॥ पढ़रभ चरनन तरि पढ़रान निखूटा ॥८५४॥ Lakshman alos did this, practicing all types of Yoga he gave up his life. Then the Brahmrandhra of Shatrughan also burst and he breathed his last to be at the feet of the Lord.854.

ਲਵ ਕ੝ਸ ਦੋਊ ਤਹਾਂ ਚਲ ਗਝ ॥ ਰਘ੝ਬਰ ਸੀਅਹਿ ਜਰਾਵਤ ਭਝ ॥ ਅਰ ਪਿਤ ਭ੝ਰਾਤ ਤਿਹੂੰ ਕਹ ਦਹਾ ॥ ਰਾਜ ਛਤ੝ਰ ਲਵ ਕੇ ਸਿਰਿ ਰਹਾ ॥੮੫੫॥ लव कढ़स दोऊ तहां चल गझ ॥ रघढ़बर सीअहि जरावत भझ ॥ अर पित भढ़रात तिहूं कह दहा ॥ राज छतढ़र लव के सिरि रहा ॥८५५॥ Lava and Kusha both came forward and performed the funeral rites of Ram and Sita; they also performed the funeral rites of the brothers of their father and in this way Lava assumed the royal canopy over his head.855.

ਤਿਹੂੰਅਨ ਕੀ ਇਸਤ੝ਰੀ ਤਹ ਆਈ ॥ ਸੰਗਿ ਸਤੀ ਹ੝ਵੈ ਸ੝ਰਗਿ ਸਿਧਾਈ ॥ ਲਵ ਸਿਰਿ ਧਰਾ ਰਾਜ ਕਾ ਸਾਜਾ ॥ ਤਿਹੂੰਅਨ ਤਿਹੂੰ ਕ੝ੰਟਿ ਕੀਅ ਰਾਜਾ ॥੮੫੬॥ तिहूंअन की इसतढ़री तह आई ॥ संगि सती हढ़वै सढ़रगि सिधाई ॥ लव सिरि धरा राज का साजा ॥ तिहूंअन तिहूं कढ़ंटि कीअ राजा ॥८५६॥ The wives of the three brothers came there and they also became Satis and left for the heavenly abode. Lava assumed the kingship and made the three (cousins) the kings of three directions.856.

ਉੱਤਰ ਦੇਸ ਆਪ੝ ਕ੝ਸ ਲੀਆ ॥ ਭਰਤ ਪ੝ੱਤ੝ਰ ਕਹ ਪੂਰਬ ਦੀਆ ॥ ਦੱਛਨ ਦੀਅ ਲੱਛਨ ਕੇ ਬਾਲਾ ॥ ਪੱਛਮ ਸੱਤ੝ਰਘਨ ਸ੝ਤ ਬੈਠਾਲਾ ॥੮੫੭॥ उतर देस आपढ़ कढ़स लीआ ॥ भरत पढ़ढ़तढ़र कह पूरब दीआ ॥ दढ़छन दीअ लढ़छन के बाला ॥ पढ़छम सढ़तढ़रघन सढ़त बैठाला ॥८५७॥ Kusha himself ruled over the north, the son of Bharat was given the kingship of the south and the son of Shatrughan the kingship of the west.857.

ਦੋਹਰਾ ॥ दोहरा ॥ DOHRA

ਰਾਮ ਕਥਾ ਜ੝ਗ ਜ੝ਗਿ ਅਟਲ ਸਭ ਕੋਈ ਭਾਖਤ ਨੇਤਿ ॥ ਸ੝ਰਗਿ ਬਾਸ੝ ਰਘ੝ਬਰ ਕਰਾ ਸਗਰੀ ਪ੝ਰੀ ਸਮੇਤ ॥੮੫੮॥ राम कथा जढ़ग जढ़गि अटल सभ कोई भाखत नेति ॥ सढ़रगि बासढ़ रघढ़बर करा सगरी पढ़री समेत ॥८५८॥ The story of Ram remain immortal throughout the ages and in this way Ram went to abide in heaven alongwith (all the resident of) the city.858.

ਇਤਿ ਰਾਮ ਭਿਰਾਤ ਤ੝ਰੀਅਨ ਸਹਿਤ ਸ੝ਰਗਿ ਗਝ ਅਰ੝ ਰਾਮ ਸਗਰੀ ਪ੝ਰੀ ਸਹਿਤ ਸ੝ਰਗ ਜਾਇਬੋ ਧਿਆਇ ਸਮਾਪਤੰ ॥ इति राम भिरात तढ़रीअन सहित सढ़रगि गझ अरढ़ राम सगरी पढ़री सहित सढ़रग जाइबो धिआइ समापतं ॥ End of the chapter entitled `Ram went to Heaven alongwith brothers and their wives; He went alongwith all the residents of the city` in Ramavtar in BACHITTAR NATAK.
