Navneet Singh Narulais a graduate of Michigan State University who came to live in the USA in 1997. At Michigan State he had a variety of majors, from medicine to engineering to accounting, finally settling on a career in marketing. Today he is employes in the field of international business marketing in Lawrenceville GA., just northeast of Atlanta Georgia. He received the Distinguished Young Alumni Award the Michigan State University Alumni Association in October of 2007.

A Sikh who takes Sewa Seriously


Navneet served as a volunteer for three months in the relief efforts after the devastating sunami of 2004 working in South India and the Nicobar Islands where he was a team leader cordinating 45 other volunteers. He also traveled to New Orleans after the devastion of Hurricane Katrina spending six weeks in service there. Later that fall he assisted in efforts to help the people of the Earthquake of Northwest India (Jammu & Kashmir-Poonch). He pioneered the first computer institute in Poonch.

He is a director of the Organization United Sikhs.

Around Atlanta he is actively involved in the local Gurdwara, giving the writer a memorable tour and warm welcome in the annual event held for the local community. For several years he actively manned the Sikh exhibit table at the annual Independance Day celebrations in August held at the Gwinett Civic Center.
