Navneet served as a volunteer for three months in the relief efforts after the devastating sunami of 2004 working in South India and the Nicobar Islands where he was a team leader cordinating 45 other volunteers. He also traveled to New Orleans after the devastion of Hurricane Katrina spending six weeks in service there. Later that fall he assisted in efforts to help the people of the Earthquake of Northwest India (Jammu & Kashmir-Poonch). He pioneered the first computer institute in [[Poonch]].
