Manochal Encounter (1985)

Baba Gurbachan Singh Manochal was hiding in his native village of Manochal, when the Punjab Police and CRPF surrounded him. An encounter ensued. In this long encounter Police Inspector Bhupinder Singh and many other police officers were killed. Baba Manochal was able to break the police cordon and thus escaped. This happened around 1984-1985.
