Mahakaal means the destroyer of one who destroys i.e God, it's Supreme Command. Like, if human acts as destroyer who destoys some other animal, then the God is Destroyer of that Destroyer. For eg. If a executioner kills someone, he is Kaal(destroyer) of that person, Mahakaal is that which kills that executioner. Mahakaal is nothing but Supreme Hukam of God, Command of God.

People ofter confuse it with Jamdoot. Jamdoot are those, which tangle other in worldly pleasures but not in god.

Kaal Vs. Mahakaal

  • Kaal: Kaal only eats person.
  • Mahakaal: (ਫਿਰਿ ਨ ਖਾਈ ) which means it can eat, and it can leave two. It's Supreme Command which can take up the negative and which leave if it become positive how it can become positive, it can become positive through ਰਾਮ ਨਾਮ ਸਿਮਰਿ ਤੂ ਜੀਵਹਿ, i.e meditating on god.
