Gurudwara Nanak Varhi or Nanak Wadi is a wonderful sikh shrine located in the heart of Vadodara City that marks the remembrance of Guru Nanak Sahib

History

This was were the First Guru Nanak Dev Ji and his companion Shri Mardanaji stopped passed some time in 1515-17, after leaving Baroch. From here thet left to travel to Rajasthan. Gurdwara Guru Nanak Varhi has been built to preserve the memory of his visit. The single room that has long stood to preserve the memory of his visit has today grown into a huge Gurdwara.

This gurudwara is since then and daily prayers are offered as per the shri Hukumnama of the Akal Takht Shri Harmandir Sahib ji.
