Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji came to village Gurne Kalan from village Lehra- Gaga while on his way from Talwandi Sabo to Dhamtan. Guruji along with his beloved Sikhs came to village Lehra -Gaga from Gobindpur. Some of the Sikhs went to the fields to get grass for their horses. Unaware of Guruji's presence in the village the ignorant landlords did not care and allow Sikhs to cut grass. The Sikhs went back to Guruji and narrated the incident. Thereafter Guruji left village Lehra and moved to Gurne Kalan. The landlords as well as villagers of village Lehra -Gaga subsequently realized their mistake and came to Guruji at village Gurne Kalan to ask for pardon. After staying for three days, Guruji left village Gurne Kalan for Makorar Sahib. The natives of village Lehra-Gaga also followed Guruji and asked for his forgiveness. Guruji finally blessed them. The important annual event in the Gurdwara is Shahidi Divas of Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji. In addition, Dussehra and Baisakhi are also celebrated with enthusiasm here.
