Guru Granth Sahib the boat
A boat is a watercraft designed to float on, and provide transport over, water. Usually this water will be inland or in protected coastal areas.. In this article the boat is considered as life and death.

ਨਾ ਬੇੜੀ ਨਾ ਤਲਹੜਾ ਨਾ ਪਾਈਝ ਪਿਰ ਦੂਰਿ ॥੧॥
ना बेड़ी ना तढ़लहड़ा ना पाईझ पिरढ़ दूरि ॥१॥
Nĝ bėṛī nĝ ṯulhaṛĝ nĝ pĝīai pir ḝūr. ||1||
No boat or raft can take you to Him. Your Husband Lord is far away. ||1||

सतिगढ़र कै भाणै जो चलै विचि बोहिथ बैठा आइ ॥
Saṯgur kai bẖĝṇai jo cẖalai vicẖ bohith baiṯẖĝ ĝė.
One who walks in harmony with the True Guru's Will comes to sit in this Boat.
