Gurdwara Dera Baba Banda Bahadur, Reasi

The 300-year-old Dera Baba Banda Bahadur has a historic gurdwara which has the samadhi of Banda Bahadur. It is situated at Reasi tehsil of Udhampur district approx. 75 km from Jammu city of Jammu and Kashmir state . Besides the ashes of Banda Bahadur, it has an arrow given to him by Guru Gobind Singh and other weapons, including a huge sword.

All these belongings are displayed every year on Baisakhi.

Every year an average of 30,000 devotees throng the mela a on Baisakhi day from northern India. The dera is run by mahant of the dera S. Jatinder Pal Singh. The spot has become a pilgrim destination and a tourist place.
