Gurdwara Bhai Jaita Ji

Gurudwara Bhai Jaita ji is situated in the city of Shri Anandpur Sahib or Ropar Distt. When SHRI GURU TEG BAHADUR JI was Beheaded on 11 nov 1675 in delhi, no one dared to pick GURU SAHIBS sacred Head from the chandani chowk. Later a swear storm swept through the city, and under the cover of dark blanket BHAI JAITA JI managed to escape with GURU SAHIBS Sacred head and carried it to Sri Anandpur Sahib To GURU GOBIND RAI JI (GURU GOBIND SINGH JI) and BHAI LAKHI SHAH creamated GURU SAHIBS Body by setting his house on fire as public funeral would have been dangreous. On novemeber 16 1675 Pyre of sandalwood was setted up Head of SHRI GURU TEG BAHADUR JI was creamated By SHRI GURU GOBIND RAI JI(GURU GOBIND SINGH JI) And then SHRI GURU GOBIND SINGH JI said for BHAI JAITA JI "Rangreta Guru Ka Beta" and Bhai jaite ji and became SHRI GURU GOBIND SINGH JI'S sikh and was named BHAI JIWAN SINGH JI.
