Dasam is a Punjabi word which means tenth and is frequently used as 'Dasam Guru' or 'Dasveh Guru' or 'Dasam Patshah' to refer to the tenth Sikh Guru, Guru Gobind Singh (1666 - 1708). Also, Dasam Granth refers to the Granth (holy scriptures) compiled during the period of Guru Gobind Singh.
The word 'Dasam' simply means 'tenth'.
