Buttar (Punjabi: ਬ੝ੱਟਰ, Urdu:بٹر) is a Jatt clan as well surname Jatt people of Punjab. It's member mainly lives in the Punjab region (East Punjab and West Punjab) and also abroad as they have migrated overseas. As of 1881 census, there were only 10883 Buttars in the Undivided Punjab.[1]
