The Brahm Kavach is found in the Sri Gurbilas patshahi 10. In this Guru Gobind Singh Ji read out the Brahm Kavach (thus the patshahi 10 in some gutkas) however they then go on to tell the sangat that it was originally created by Sri Guru Hargobind Ji. In the nihang Gutkas the name of the paatshah is not writen. It is recited 23 times a day by the nihangs.
