Bakhshish Singh, one of the Sikhs of Guru Gobind Singh`s time who, as says Bhai Santokh Singh in his Sri Gur Pratap Suraj Granth, received amrit or initiatory vows at the time of the creation of the Khalsa in 1699. He took part in the battles of Lohgarh and Nirmohgarh.
