Badwal or Badyal is a Surname of the Saini Tribe of Rajputs. They belong to the Chandravamsha of Kshatriyas. They are mostly found in the Northern India. Some Badwal Sainis also identify themselves as Jats and some as Dogra Rajputs specially of the bordering Hills of Punjab.
