The Kalgi of Guru Gobind Singh Ji returns to Sri Akal Takhat today (June 30, 2008)

Harpreet Singh Sidhu (2L) and Kamaljit Singh Boparai (2R), along with the Jathedar of the Sri Akal Takhat, Sahib Gurbachan Singh (L) hold the historical Kalgi of Sikh 10th Guru Gobind Singh Ji at the International Rajasansi airport, about 15 kms from Amritsar on June 30, 2009. Harpreet Singh Sidhu and Kamaljit Singh Boparai have brought this historical holy Kalgi back from England and handed it over to the Sikh head priest of Sri Akal Takhat, Sahib Gurbachan Singh and The Shiromani Gurdwara Prabandhak Committee. – AFP
