Gurdwara Gurusar Pakka Sahib Patshahi Nauvin is a magnificiant shrine situated in the village of Handiyaya, 6 km southwest of Barnala on Bhatinda-Sangrur road.
History
Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji came to village Handiyaya in the year 1665 A.D and rested under a grove near a pond. A person came and told Guru Ji about a mysterious disease rampant in the area. Guru Ji advised him to have the patient bathed in the pond. The person told Guru Ji that the Chamars (tanners) used the pond to dip their hides in.
