How to add a photo to article in Sikhiwiki
Dear Khalsa ji,
Basic Procedure is:
- 1. Select the "upload file" option on the left hand "Toolbox" options
- 2. Select "Browse..." from the Upload file panel
- 3. Choose the file that you wish to upload from your computer - Please make sure that you do not infringe any copyrights and comply with Sikhiwiki guidelines
- 4. Select the "Upload file" button at the bottom of the panel. This will upload the file to SikhiWiki.
- 5 The next screen will display your image/photo. Make a note of the file name at the top of the page - say the name is "test_image.jpg". I normally Copy the name on to the clipboard. This can be done by highlighting the name (left-click and move the mouse cursor over the file name, put the mouse cursor over the highlighted area and right-click and select copy - this has copied the image name into the clipboard.)
