Per the Greeting

Sardarji, I had noticed you were editing again.

I had asked if you knew if the greeting “Jai Gurudev” was used only between Ravidasias.

Or do they use this greeting for everyone, only among themselves or with others?

Jai Gurudev, Boley so Nirbhay

Very nice editing of Ravidasi article, i want you to explain Ravidas bani in brief on Sikhiwiki. Ravidas was not from any religion and nor was Nanak. Both were from same religion "SACH". Both were Bhagats or you can say Gurus. Every Sikh=Ravidasi should follow sach. (Editor 11:49, 21 March 2010 (UTC))

email, Jai Gurudev, etc

Veer ji, Sat Sri Akal

I hope you got my email reply; just to explain a little more - some of the further sub-sections of the bigger Sikh faith use different greetings and "jakaras"; this is acceptable as no set greeting was ever established by Guru Nanak as far as the records show. Apart from the Khalsa greeting of Waheguru ji ka Khalsa, Waheguru ji ki Fateh, all greeting that invoke the remembrance of God should be acceptable to the Sikh. Kind regards, Hari Singhtalk 02:44, 2 April 2010 (UTC)
