(SGGS p275)
ਪਾਰਬ੝ਰਹਮ੝ ਕਰਤਾ ਅਬਿਨਾਸ ॥
Pĝrbarahm karṯĝ abinĝs.
The Supreme Lord God, the Creator, is eternal and everlasting.

ਸਦਾ ਸਦਾ ਸਦਾ ਦਇਆਲ ॥
Saḝĝ saḝĝ saḝĝ ḝa▫i▫ĝl.
Forever, forever and ever, He is merciful.

ਸਿਮਰਿ ਸਿਮਰਿ ਨਾਨਕ ਭਝ ਨਿਹਾਲ ॥੮॥੯॥
Simar simar Nĝnak bẖa▫e nihĝl. ||8||9||
Remembering Him, remembering Him in meditation, O Nanak, one is blessed with ecstasy. ||8||9||

ਸਿਮਰਿ ਸਿਮਰਿ ਸਦਾ ਸ੝ਖ੝ ਪਾਈਝ ਜੀਵਣੈ ਕਾ ਮੂਲ੝ ॥
Simar simar saḝĝ sukẖ pĝ▫ī▫ai jīvṇai kĝ mūl.
Meditating, meditating in remembrance on Him, I have found everlasting peace. He is the source of life.

ਰਵਿ ਰਹਿਆ ਸਰਬਤ ਠਾਈ ਸੂਖਮੋ ਅਸਥੂਲ ॥੧॥
Rav rahi▫ĝ sarbaṯ ṯẖĝ▫ī sūkẖmo asthūl. ||1||
He is all-pervading, permeating all places; He is in subtle essence and manifest form. ||1||

ਆਲ ਜਾਲ ਬਿਕਾਰ ਤਜਿ ਸਭਿ ਹਰਿ ਗ੝ਨਾ ਨਿਤਿ ਗਾਉ ॥
Āl jĝl bikĝr ṯaj sabẖ har gunĝ niṯ gĝ▫o.
Abandon all your entanglements and corruption; sing the Glorious Praises of the Lord forever.

ਕਰ ਜੋੜਿ ਨਾਨਕ੝ ਦਾਨ੝ ਮਾਂਗੈ ਦੇਹ੝ ਅਪਨਾ ਨਾਉ ॥੨॥੧॥੬॥
Kar joṛ Nĝnak ḝĝn mĝʼngai ḝeh apnĝ nĝ▫o. ||2||1||6||
With palms pressed together, Nanak begs for this blessing; please bless me with Your Name. ||2||1||6||

ਹ੝ਕਮ੝ ਚਲਾਇ ਰਹਿਆ ਭਰਪੂਰੇ ॥
Hukam cẖalĝ▫e rahi▫ĝ bẖarpūre.
The all-pervading Lord orchestrates all through His Hukam.

ਕਿਸ੝ ਨੇੜੈ ਕਿਸ੝ ਆਖਾਂ ਦੂਰੇ ॥
Kis neṛai kis ĝkẖĝʼn ḝūre.
Who is near, and who is far away?

ਗ੝ਪਤ ਪ੝ਰਗਟ ਹਰਿ ਘਟਿ ਘਟਿ ਦੇਖਹ੝ ਵਰਤੈ ਤਾਕ੝ ਸਬਾਇਆ ॥੨॥
Gupaṯ pargat har gẖat gẖat ḝekẖhu varṯai ṯĝk sabĝ▫i▫ĝ. ||2||
Behold the Lord, both hidden and manifest, in each and every heart; the unique Lord is permeating all. ||2||

ਜਿਸ ਕਉ ਮੇਲੇ ਸ੝ਰਤਿ ਸਮਾਝ ॥
Jis ka▫o mele suraṯ samĝ▫e.
One whom the Lord unites with Himself, merges in conscious awareness.

ਗ੝ਰ ਸਬਦੀ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮ੝ ਧਿਆਝ ॥
Gur sabḝī har nĝm ḝẖi▫ĝ▫e.
Through the Word of the Guru's Shabad, meditate on the Lord's Name.

ਆਨਦ ਰੂਪ ਅਨੂਪ ਅਗੋਚਰ ਗ੝ਰ ਮਿਲਿਝ ਭਰਮ੝ ਜਾਇਆ ॥੩॥
Ānaḝ rūp anūp agocẖar gur mili▫ai bẖaram jĝ▫i▫ĝ. ||3||
God is the embodiment of bliss, incomparably beautiful and unfathomable; meeting with the Guru, doubt is dispelled. ||3||
