Dear All,
I would like your advice. I have been attacked by my mother and another person using Voodoo. I have no one I can tell because they are being lied to by the same people.
My hair (Kesh) has been stolen from my house on several occasions and that of my husband. It causes pain in my head every time they issue a curse.
I know our people do not believe in this but I have proof of this being done to me. My mother was angry with me and my husband and has attack me, him, my mother and father in law, my brothers in law and my sister in law but they have not yet realised what has happened to them.
I was told yesterday that there have been cases like this in the past. She is using a muslim shamen to do this.
I am a pregnant woman of 36 years of age and am 7 months gone. She also wants to kill the child inside me and has attacked my womb so that I can barely hold him in.
What do I do, where do I turn.
They both plan to murder me and my poor husband and take my money. They have plans in place to steal all our finances and everything we own and ensure that they get the money.
They have broekn into my house on several occasions and steal documents and keys.
She has stolen my maternity notes, taking out all the stuff that proves my baby is well so she can blame an illness.
My computer has been compromoised as has my data, so I cannot leave anything on it. They have hacked my email accounts and will delete all evidence.
I need help despertately for my child and in-laws before it is too late. How do I stop them.
I have spoken to other Sikhs a long time ago and they said it is against our religion and culture to use Voodoo.
I am a sikh woman - help me!

Many thanks for writing to us here at SikhiWiki. Your story is most unfortunate and one which needs a face to face meeting to resolve quickly; unfortunately this is not possible - However, the Guru is merciful and will assist us in our mission to protect you and your immediate family.
The Guru Granth Sahib tells us: "Many millions are the evil nature-spirits, ghosts, etc." (SGGS p276) - so there are millions of these evil spirits in the Universe. However, the Guru also assures us that "Meditating in remembrance on the Lord, demons and ghosts shall not touch you" (SGGS p1150). So the solutions lies within us all - Meditate and remember the Creator Lord and His powers will rise within you to protect you from all these external evil forces.
Please if you feel uncomfortable with the state of your health, please go and see your doctor immediately. You must feel reassured about your health otherwise the worry will drive you barmy! and you will not be able to concentrate on the Gurbani or on anything else.
A very strong bani which will give you complete protection from such evil forces is Kabiyo Bach Benti Chaupai. This is a Bani by the tenth Sikh Guru, Guru Gobind Singh. You can read, listen, recite and understand this bani here.
Please recite or listen to this bani twice a day for 10 minutes - once in the morning and once in the evening. After doing this just few times with dedication, the results will show in your mind and in your disposition. You will feel more alert and confident in yourself and slowly your mental energy levels will begin to increase. It is a marvellous bani to recite.
When you sit to listen to the bani, please give it your full attention and spent about 10 minutes for each session.
