The article Baba Sri Chand

Dear Adi Mata ji,

The above article has been locked as there has been a complaint about the changes that have been made to the content of this page. At present, my short initial reading of the changes cannot reach any decisive viewpoint.

I will try and spend more time in the next few days to see if the changes are justified or if they are not. While I consider some of the amendments, if you have any suggestions or comments, please post them either on the article discussion page or on my user talk page here or you may email me at [email protected].

My general view is that Baba Sri Chand was not selected as Guru but that he was enlightened enough to become the leader of the Usasi movement - so there are merits about Baba ji which need to be considered carefully. I also accept that the Guru's bard have expressed a somewhat negative view of the "sons of Nanak".

Keeping these basic facts in mind, I will revisit this article again in the next few days. I am grateful for your contributions so far; however, we need to look at any such major changes with some care and attention to ensure that we are projecting a true and balanced picture of reality. I am sorry and this action may have some negative impact on your enthusiasm but I assure you that we are trying our best to resolve this delicate issue.

Also, I understand totally that we are all working on the same mission - to improve, understand and spread the precious message of our Gurus. My thanks and kind regards to you, Hari Singhtalk 16:58, 16 December 2010 (EST)
