Sultan ul Ashiqeen Sultan Mohammad Najib ur Rehman is the present Imam of Sarwari Qadri order of Sultan Bahoo. Sultan ul Ashiqeen he is 31st perfect Shaikh of Sarwari Qadri order. Sultan-ul-Ashiqeen Sultan Mohammad Najib-ur-Rehman is the man of Divine Essence and the perfect spiritual guide possessing the light of Divine guidance. He is the Fakir Malik al-Mulki (master of worlds Fakir), hence his spiritual sight is not bounded to any place.

Birth:

Sultan-ul-Ashiqeen Sultan Mohammad Najib-ur-Rehman was born in Bukhshan Khan Tehsil Chistian, District Bahawalnagar, Pakistan. Sultan-ul-Ashiqeen Sultan Mohammad Najib-ur-Rehman was born on August 19, 1959 (14 Safar 1379 Hijri) Wednesday at 4:30 a.m. His father named him Najib-ur-Rehman.

Father:

The name of Sultan Mohammad Najib-ur-Rehman’s father was Abdul Hameed. He was born on February 8, 1931 (21 Ramadan, 1349 H) Sunday at Madhan Tehsil Nakodar, District Jalandhar, India. He got the education upto middle standard. Then he started working with his father in cultivation. Alongside, he also learnt accounts from a Hindu that paid him a lot in his practical life.

Mother:

Sultan Mohammad Najib-ur-Rehman’s mother Kaneez Fatimah was the daughter of Chaudhry Sharf Din. She was born in Jalandhar city (India) on Saturday, 4, August 1934 (23 Rabi al-awwal, 1353 H). Her father Sharf Din was a secondary school teacher. She had received education till middle standard at the time of creation of Pakistan. Her father died a few months before Pakistan came into being. After migration her family settled in Montgomery (present Sahiwal). Later, she got married to Abdul Hameed on Thursday 13, March 1958 (21 Shaban, 1377 H).

Education:

Sultan-ul-Ashiqeen Sultan Mohammad Najib-ur-Rehman started his regular education from Depalpur District Okara, Pakistan. He had God gifted qualities and intellect. Inspite of the family financial crisis, he completed the Quranic and other religious education very soon. He completed his matriculation from Government High School Depalpur, District Okara.

Longing to Attain Religious Knowledge:

Sultan Mohammad Najib-ur-Rehman always had great love for Allah and His Prophet Mohammad (peace be upon him). Since childhood he found peace and spiritual tranquility in getting the religious knowledge. Not only the Holy Quran but also the other books about Islam and Islamic history had his utmost attention. He had an intellectually curious nature that was always eager to know more about the religion and spirituality. Hence, he got a lot of Islamic knowledge without any teacher, merely by reading books.

Practical Life:

In 1983, Okara officially became a district and many district offices established there. So, Sultan-ul-Ashiqeen worked in a district office there for some time. Soon he knew that it was not possible to progress much in that city. Therefore, he often started visiting Lahore for interviews and exams for different designations. At last he got a government job in 1985 in Lahore. Hence, he migrated to Lahore on April 12, 1985. This migration proved to be a blessing. This is when Allah opened all avenues of financial comfort and worldly delight on him.

Marriage:

Sultan Mohammad Najib-ur-Rehman got married on March 13, 1987 (13 Rajab, 1407 H) before the Friday prayer in Lahore. He tied the knot with Tahira Parveen, the only daughter of Mohammad Saleem. Later on, the departure ceremony of the bride held a couple months after following the same year. To be precise, it was a fine Thursday evening on November 18, 1987 (28 Rabi al-awwal, 1408 H).

Children:

  • Sahibzadi Muneeza Najib was born in Lahore on August 7th, 1988 (23rd, Dhul al-Hijjah 1408 H) Sunday about 7:05 p.m.
  • On September 27th, 1989 (25th Safar, 1410 H) Wednesday at 6:15 p.m., Sahibzadi Tabeena Najib was born in Lahore. She died at a very young age of seven in the ICU of General Hospital, Lahore. The little girl took her last breath on October 2nd, 1996 (18th Jumada al-awwal, 1417 H) Wednesday at 8:05 a.m.
  • Sahibzadi Mishal Najib was born on September 6th, 1994 (28th Rabi al-awwal, 1415 H), Tuesday at 2:20 p.m., in Lahore.

  • The only son Sahibzada Mohammad Murtaza Najib was also born in Lahore. He was born on Tuesday, August 5th, 1997 (30th Rabi al-awwal, 1418 H) at 5:20 p.m.
  • Sahibzadi Fatimah Najib was born in Lahore on January 4th, 2003 (30th Shawwal, 1423 H) Saturday at 4:30 p.m.

Sultan-ul-Ashiqeen reached the holy court of Sultan Mohammad Asghar Ali on April 12th, 1998 (Dhul al-Hijjah 14th, 1418 H). They recognized each other as the lover and the beloved. Thereafter, his slavery became the sole purpose of Sultan-ul-Ashiqeen’s life. Thus, he devoted each moment of his life to serve his spiritual guide. Due to the intense love for his spiritual guide, Sultan Mohammad Najib-ur-Rehman annihilated in him completely. Rather, he became his spiritual guide’s complete essence and reflection.

From 1998 till 2001, Sultan Mohammad Asghar Ali made him pass through various inward and outward trials. By the grace of Allah and kindness of the spiritual guide, he met each and every trial successfully. When Sultan Mohammad Asghar Ali had thoroughly tested his heir of the Divine Trust, he then intended to go for Hajj.

On March 21st, 2001, the day came for which Sultan Mohammad Asghar Ali had been waiting for twenty years. At last, the Holy Prophet (pbuh) approved Sultan-ul-Ashiqeen Sultan Mohammad Najib-ur-Rehman for transferring the Divine Trust.
