Sat sri akal,

I came across this page and I think the table needs to be corrected--the daytime and nighttime halves both contain the same time frames.

Since I'm new to all this stuff I'm going to refrain from editing it myself, in the hopes that someone will see this talk page and intervene.

Thanks, Seva Simran Kaur

raags are emotions and they are not confined to time

our gurus used raags as an extension of our emotion, the justification to why raags don't have a specific time is very simple but is hidden by the people who appose it, if raags are meant to represent emotions like laughing and crying, what time do you cry? what time do you laugh? People overlook the real meaning of a raag, the musical notations are there to emulate a specific feeling in a person. asa di var is done in the morning for a very simple reason, the 24 pores are meant to represent every hour of the day, how you should live your day according to the gurus, it is meant to start your day out correctly. Just because it is done in the morning does not mean it is a "morning raag".

Dear Realraags

Please provide evidence to backup what you are saying. Just because raags are linked to emotions does not mean that you can play any raag whenever you like. Please see the following links which imply otherwise:
