Talk:Tale of King of Sirmaur

Dear Lucky ji, I've given it a try, hopefully you will be satisfied with the attempt. Please revert or edit as needed.

As I have read that Paunta Sahib was only an old ruined fort, with a Pilgrimage site hundreds of steps below, by the river, when the Guru was invited to Nahan. It seems that either the timing is off or the wrong city was given. All the stories I have read indicate that the Sikhs with the help of the Rajas men raised a new city very quickly, but if the Panjabi (or Braj) of the original book relates the story as the day that the Sikhs were greeted with a warm welcome by their hosts, it seems that only Nahan would have had shops.

And also the hunting is described, as being done on the way to Nahan. Of course there are later tales of hunting with the Raja of Sirmaur and the Raja next door (the troublemaker).

Change as you need.
