Talk:Sufi Shrine Attacked

From SikhiWiki

Seeing the films of what was once the Sikh Raj? the villages and around the wife of the Mullah of the Red Masjid in her home villageI wondered about the giant mud walls - nine or ten ft high and eight or more feet thick -which look to be tunnels with gun firing slits. Now I know what the Pakistan Army was talking about in Bajaur. Are these walls ancient or built since the taleban moved in? Anyone know? Allenwalla 00:04, 6 March 2009 (UTC)

A: Sat Sri Akal, Kaur-1: Sikhi has had very good relations with Sufis; the Bani of Baba Farid who is revered as a Sufi is included in the Guru Granth Sahib - see article Sikhi’s Sufi connection and also Shabad on page 1380. Hope this help. Regards, Hari Singhtalk 15:20, 12 March 2009 (UTC)

Kaur-1 Please refer to the article where Alberuni, referring to Mahmud of Ghaznavi, tells us how, "Hindus became like atoms of dust scattered in all directions." Every one in Panjab was pretty much Hindu as this was before the birth of Guru Nanak. Allenwalla 18:58, 12 March 2009 (UTC)
