Talk:Sikhs an Identity

From SikhiWiki

  • Sikhs do not believe in any one except one and the only one God, the Almighty, who was ever existent, who never comes in human form, who is never born nor dies. (Guru Granth Sahib).
  • In Sikh faith even God is believed to be one with long unshorn hair.

The message of this piece has little to do with Guru Nanak. The intent is clear that this person believes that Sikhism is the best and superior and that all other religions are flat messed up. Every other sentence contradicts the next. The two above just a sample. Would the writer propose 'Sikh laws that rule others not of the Sikh faith as do the Selafists of Islam?

God never comes in human form, yet some can do what only God can do. Christianity is clearly derived of Judism which is clearly influenced by Zorastrism which owes a lot to Hinduism, ect., ect. The old testament is clearly related to the Torah as is the Qur'an. Moses is not the founder of Judism. I could go on. Sikhism is a great religion this writer, I think, does it a great disservice.
