can anyone tell me what Saka means Allenwalla 15:51, 12 November 2007 (MST)

My understanding is that "saka" (Punjabi: ਸਾਕਾ) means "Incident, event or occurrence" especially if it is of historic proportion. SriGranth translation of ਸਾਕਾ. Hope this helps, Hari Singh 21:58, 12 November 2007 (MST)

Caste

Some veer has mentioned the scores of different castes in this Saka. I just want to pay my homage to all sachkhand vaasi shaheeds. I'm sure they themselves would have just called themselves only the sons of Dashmesh Pitaa. Whether they were Kamboj, Jat or Majhabi, they are all in the same Sachkhand now. They will always guide us with the footprints made with their blood.
