On combining two articles

Nankana Sahib and Saka Nankana Sahib i have spent several hours on each article

two hours today on Saka Nankana mostly removing the refs from the story and putting them at bottom.

The articles seem to have come straight from Wikipedia where the reference system added them at the bottom even numbering them as one writes.

I have tried to do the same on sikiwiki but for some reason sikhiwiki does not support this feature

I often see, as well, articles copied from other sites which carry numbers indicating referances where the person placing the article did not include the referances. a long and tiring search is then required to find the article elsewhere and add the references, authors name and who published the material in the first place.

As i feel that the Gurus and the brave people of whom we write here deserve only the best, that each article on each person or topic should be like a trophy or samadh polished off with a peacock duster, i.e. checking ones work after keyboarding, please take the time to add authors, publishers, etc. thank you all as i now step down off my soapboxAllenwalla 13:22, 11 January 2008 (MST)a glorious day here full of sunshine may you all have a glorious day as well. i am amazed as i check (show preview) how many times i have missed a key.
