hi there, i am not some kind of vidyavan but i am sorry i do not agree with your explanation. there were numerous instances where the historical references were used to make the point clear by jagatguru nanak dev ji maharaj as in this case too.
there was one time when laxman fell unconcious and hanuman had to get the mountain with jeevani booti on it and sita was away at that time too. even in the shabad there are talking about a very specific time but when he was away sent away from ayodhya.
professor sahib singh in his 'gurbani wyakaran' even says it himself that he never meant or never gave the adhyatamic meaning but just the gramatical arth of the shabad or any gurbani. in gurbani according to my judgements and from what i have heard from gurmukhs liks giani sant singh ji maskeen, you just can not claim one interpretation to be final or perfect because it is like samundar and it is upto our bhanda i.e. our ability what we get we out of it, "swihbu myrw nIq nvw sdw sdw dwqwru".
i have great respect for the cause and effort you gurmukhs have put in this project. i visit this site like tens of time everyday and i aplologise if have said something inappropriate.

Every word of Gurbani is for ones personal interpretation, so you can listen to others; ask others to give you their versions of the meanings of the various words - but in the end always decide the actual meaning according to your own personal understanding.

ਹਣਵੰਤਰ ਆਰਾਧਿਆ ਆਇਆ ਕਰਿ ਸੰਜੋਗ ॥ Then, he remembered Hanuman the monkey-god, who came to him
ਹਣਵੰਤਰ ? ਸੀਤਾ ?ਲਛਮਣ? ਰਾਮ ?and i hope here too you implement Temporal Interpretations. But Guru Sahibans are using Gurmukhi Language. there is difference between ਹਣਵੰਤਰ and Hanuman. Similarly in gurbani JASRATH word is used instead of DASRATH.When it comes to Ram only we flight inside and inner meanings of it but when it comes to Seeta, Lakhsman or Hanvantar we jump to mythological interpretations. Then problem comes when Shabad like DHANN DHAN KRISHNA ODHE KAAMBLIand we just adapt with meanings that KRISHNA is also name of God without using DEFINATIONS of Gurbani and understanding underlying concept.All Mythology used above 99% mythology is used for Spiritual Meanings. If you see above example ਝੂਰੈ is also continuous tense mean presently it is mourning and it is for soul which is tangle in Bhavsagar. SUAA PADHAVAT GANIKA TARI <--- In Gurbani SUAA means Mann and Ganika is Budhi which is Prostitute. In Hindu Mythology all stories have symbollic meaning rather then actual existence. or you can say Sikhism is PUREST form of Hinduism/Islam, Totally Nirankar.
Hindus says that SIKHS are hindus but we should say "HINDUS were SIKHS".
- ANTAR DEV NA JAANE ANDH = HINDU
- ANTAR DEV KO JO JAANE SO NAHIN ANDH = SIKH
This is main and biggest difference between Hindu and a Sikh.
ROVAI RAAM NIKALA BHAYA <--- ROVAI is present continues test. * Seeta Lakhman Vichad geya <---- It is interpretation of Pundit Tara Singh Narotam, where he picked Seeta and Lakshman seperately and fixed two events.as he was not finding Lakshmana Vichad geya he kept the event. Now if we need to implement temporal meanings we need to read Ramayana first then should speak. SEETA LAKHMAN using together too indicates that SEETA and Lakhman are part of Raam. Sabhey Ghat Raam Boley....Kia boley?I personally categorize gurbani as ADHYAATMIK RAMAYAN and ADHYAATMIK MAHABHARAT. There are many scholars(Principal Harbhajan Singh etc.) and many articles which claims that Prof. Sahib Singh had not followed his Grammer while Interpreting Swaiyaya of Bhatts and Other Banis too and as you said it is correct Sahib Singh is never final authority and writer of article is also not final authority.
