How can only part of a village go unnoticed for 25 years? Allenwalla 03:57, 23 February 2011 (EST)

Surprising but true!

It is surprising but true. When men act as animals then no one wants to face the ugly truth. Because the tragedy is so evil, the people involved in the killing think of it as a nightmare and they all try and distant themselves from the reality that they have been involved in. The people who first listen to the sad account cannot believe that such a thing can happen in this day and age and so do not accept the story as true. This discourages the witnesses and creates doubt in their mind - perhaps it was dream after all because no one wants to accept their tale. Further, the shock of the event numbs the mind for many months. Many victims cannot talk for many days and weeks due to the shock of the event.

Very soon, the people involved distant themselves from the events and try and rebuild their lives - I think the same thing happened with the Gas chambers in Germany and Poland during the 1940s. It took many years for the world to get to the truth. The authorities do not want this sort of news to spread! There is an attempt to gag the press and hoodwink any person trying to investigate such events.

Thankfully the truth of the tragic events continues to seep out to the world; the people causing the suppression are slowly losing their grip and the victims are gaining strength. This is my understanding; I hope this helps a little to try and piece together and come to terms with such shocking human behaviour. Regards, Hari Singhtalk 19:38, 24 February 2011 (EST)
