In the article the term backward classes is used instead of lower castes which is used in one instance toward the bottom. As after their initiation they were refused at the Harmandir and then after the turning of a page in the SGGS gave guidance, they returned to the Akal Takht all the Priests had left i assume this to be the Hindu Masands later expelled from the Gurdwara's.

backward classes just seems a little euphamistic to me...as if it was their own choice to be backward.Allenwalla 00:03, 27 October 2007 (EDT)
