I see that the time line confused me before.

It was built by both the father and his son? I think it was enlarged by Guru Hargobind will restructure a bit soon to get the events in order--some background would improve the article. will add some soon.Allenwalla 10:56, 8 March 2009 (UTC)

How could he rename it as Hargobindpur if his father had built or named it this before on the site of Ruhela? This seems to be the biggest info on this on the net. When i look for the city (now in PAK) on Google Earth, it puts a marker in the middle of a cultivated field - miles from a small city to the NW near what I think is a (forgot the term) a small stream which has a larger washed out river bed which floods during the monsoons. Nazrullah? I forget.

Late in the AM, time to sleep. ________________________________________________________

Sir Ji, When Guru Arjun Dev ji made this city he wrote its name Sri Gobindpur, but Guru Hargobind constructed or restructured the city, but he didnt changed the name, he rehabilitated it But because of his own association with it, the place came to be known as Sri Hargobindpur. it was near Rohila Town, n now the whole part is now called Sri Hargobindpur.

The date given in history of gurdwara is 1629....which seems me more appropriate.

i m now improving up guru hargobind's battle articles, thx.(Lucky 16:53, 8 March 2009 (UTC))
