Read this story and the one on Baba Langar Singh this morning, both were heart warming and except for Sarbjeet Singh having worked on them I would probably have not seen them.

As Sikhs are given the chance to activly choose to become an amritdhari, this story reminds me that Muslims have no choice and that should they wish to change religion, often a death warrent is upon their head by their fellow Muslims though nothing is said in the Qur'an or hadiths on such a matter.

it would seem that the only controversy would have been fear of raising communal animosities or their other problems i am unaware of.

The name Lakbir tells me that the copy of the SGGS seen in his home must have been one penned by Karim Baksh himself, if this is so an important part of the story has been left out and needs to be addedAllenwalla 09:04, 29 January 2008 (MST)let me know if i am right on this and i will add details.
