ਦ੝ਤੀਯ ਅਵਤਾਰ ਬ੝ਰਹਮਾ ਕੱਸ਼ਪ ਕਥਨੰ ॥
Description of Kashyap, the second incarnation of Brahma

ਪਾਧੜੀ ਛੰਦ ॥
PAADHARI STANZA

ਪ੝ਨ ਧਰਾ ਬ੝ਰਹਮ ਕੱਸ਼ਪ ਵਤਾਰ ॥ ਸ੝ਰਤਿ ਕਰੇ ਪਾਠ ਤ੝ਰੀਅ ਬਰੀ ਚਾਰ ॥
The Brahma assuming the Kashyap incarnation, recited shrutis (Vedas) and married four women,

ਮੈਥਨੀ ਸ੝ਰਿਸ਼ਟਿ ਕੀਨੀ ਪ੝ਰਗਾਸ ॥ ਉਪਜਾਇ ਦੇਵ ਦਾਨਵ ਸ੝ ਬਾਸ ॥੭॥
after that he created the whole world, when both gods and demons were created.7.

ਜੋ ਭਝ ਰਿਖ ਹ੝ਵੈ ਗੇ ਵਤਾਰ ॥ ਤਿਨ ਕੋ ਬਿਚਾਰ ਕਿੱਨੋ ਬਿਚਾਰ ॥
Those who because sages, he though about them,

ਸ੝ਰ੝ਤਿ ਕਰੇ ਬੇਦ ਅਰ੝ ਧਰੇ ਅਰਥ ॥ ਕਰ ਦਝ ਦੂਰ ਭੂਅ ਤੇ ਅਨਰਥ ॥੮॥
he interpreted the Vedas and removed the misfortune from the earth.8.

ਇਹ ਭਾਂਤਿ ਕੀਨ ਦੂਸਰ ਵਤਾਰ ॥ ਅਬ ਕਹੋ ਤੋਹਿ ਤੀਸਰ ਬਿਚਾਰ ॥
In this way the second incarnation manifested himself and now I am describing the third one thoughtfully;

ਜਿਹ ਭਾਂਤਿ ਧਰਯੋ ਬਪ੝ ਬ੝ਰਹਮ ਰਾਇ ॥ ਸਭ ਕਹਯੋ ਤਾਹਿ ਨੀਕੇ ਸ੝ਭਾਇ ॥੯॥
the manner in which Brahma assumed his body, I now describe it nicely.9.
