Gurudwara Pamor Sahib

Gurdwara Pamor Sahib is a magnificiant shrine located at a distance of 13 Kilometres on the road leading to chunni from Morinda and Sirhind. The village of chunni is 3 Kms. and Fatehgarh Sahib is 15 Km. away from Gurdwara Sahib.

History

After leaving Anandpur Sahib, when Guru Tegh Bahadur was having a discourse in Pamor with Fazan Shah. Hasana Jat come there and met Guruji. He requested Guruji to bless his house. Guruji agreed and graced the place which was at a short distance from the village. The villagers with Hasana Jat served Guruji with great devotion and sincerity. Guruji blessed them. After leaving this place, Guruji met a Faqir who was meditating after abandoning his family. Guruji enlightened him by telling him that 'grihasth' was the greatest way of living. Faqir understood Guruji's message. he alongwith his family became Guruji's disciple. Guruji blessed him that he will be born again and serve this place. His blessing shall always remain with him.

Prakash Diwas of Guru Nanak Dev Ji & Guru Gobind Singh Ji are celebrated here, Shahidi Divas of Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji & Guru Arjun Dev Ji are also organised here
