Gurudwara Gurusar Sahib Patshahi Chhevin (Village Mahil Kalan)

Guru Har Gobind Ji came here after winning the battle of Mehraj while on his way to Chak Bhai ke. It is believed that when Guru Ji came to the village nobody came to see him. As a result from here GuruJi proceeded to village Takhatupura. However when a villager by the name Karahamal came to know of this fact, he met Guru Ji outside the village and requested him to come to his house and have meal. Guru Ji accepted his invitation and graced his place with his presence. Before leaving for the next destination Guru Ji blessed him with the boon-that his Karahe(pans) will remain always full. Guru Ji also said that people of this village would not reach an agreement at the first instance, but with the congregation would be unanimous next time after deliberations. Besides daily routine prayers in the Gurdwara Sahib, all major Gurpurabs are organized. People from surrounding villages also join and celebrate functions with enthusiasm. Location Gurdwara Gurusar Sahib Patshahi Chhevin is situated in the village Mahil Kalan of district Sangrur. The village is located on the main Barnala Raikot road, From Barnala it is 25 km and from Raikot it is 23 km
