Bhagat Ravidass Janam Asthan
Bhagat Ravidas Janam Asthan, Seer Goverdhanpur, Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, India is called Dera Sach Khand and is the focal point of pilgrimage for followers of the Ravidasia religion. It is the birthplace of Bhagat Ravidass Ji.
According to historians, Bhagat Ravidass was born on 15th January 1377 and according to the Indian calendar, Sunday Sukhal Falgin Parvithta in 1433. His birthplace is located in the Uttar Pradesh State in India, in the city of Varanasi. It was not an urban area. The locality was known as Mandhuadhe. The community was known as ‘Kutvandla’ one of the Shudra communities.
