ਪੰਨਾ 830, ਸਤਰ 16 ਨਾਰਦ ਕਹਤ ਸਨਤ ਧਰੂਅ ਬਾਰਿਕ ਭਜਨ ਮਾਹਿ ਲਪਟਾਨੋ ॥੧॥ नारद कहत सढ़नत धढ़रूअ बारिक भजन माहि लपटानो ॥१॥ Nĝraḝ kahaṯ sunaṯ ḝẖarū▫a bĝrik bẖajan mĝhi laptĝno. ||1|| Listening to Naarad's teachings, the child Dhroo was absorbed in deep meditation. ||1||
ਅਚਲ ਅਮਰ ਨਿਰਭੈ ਪਦ ਪਾਇਓ ਜਗਤ ਜਾਹਿ ਹੈਰਾਨੋ ॥ अचल अमर निरभै पदढ़ पाइओ जगत जाहि हैरानो ॥ Acẖal amar nirbẖai paḝ pĝ▫i▫o jagaṯ jĝhi hairĝno. He obtained the immovable, eternal state of fearlessness, and all the world was amazed.
ਨਾਨਕ ਕਹਤ ਭਗਤ ਰਛਕ ਹਰਿ ਨਿਕਟਿ ਤਾਹਿ ਤਮ ਮਾਨੋ ॥੨॥੧॥ नानक कहत भगत रछक हरि निकटि ताहि तढ़म मानो ॥२॥१॥ Nĝnak kahaṯ bẖagaṯ racẖẖak har nikat ṯĝhi ṯum mĝno. ||2||1|| Says Nanak, the Lord is the Saving Grace and the Protector of His devotees; believe it - He is close to you. ||2||1||

ਅਟਲ ਭਇਓ ਧਰੂਅ ਜਾ ਕੈ ਸਿਮਰਨਿ ਅਰ ਨਿਰਭੈ ਪਦ ਪਾਇਆ ॥
अटल भइओ धढ़रूअ जा कै सिमरनि अरढ़ निरभै पदढ़ पाइआ ॥
Atal bẖa▫i▫o ḝẖarū▫a jĝ kai simran ar nirbẖai paḝ pĝ▫i▫ĝ.
Meditating on Him in remembrance, Dhroo became immortal, and obtained the state of fearlessness.

ਪੰਨਾ 1402, ਸਤਰ 9 ਜਿਨਹ ਬਾਤ ਨਿਸਚਲ ਧਰੂਅ ਜਾਨੀ ਤੇਈ ਜੀਵ ਕਾਲ ਤੇ ਬਚਾ ॥ जिनहढ़ बात निसढ़चल धढ़रूअ जानी तेई जीव काल ते बचा ॥ Jinahu bĝṯ niscẖal ḝẖarū▫a jĝnī ṯe▫ī jīv kĝl ṯe bacẖĝ. Those who realize the Eternal, Unchanging Word of God, like Dhroo, are immune to death.

ਆਦਿ ਅਨਾਦਿ ਅਗਾਧਿ ਕਥਾ ਧਰੂਅ ਸੇ ਪਰਹਿਲਾਦਿ ਅਜਾਮਲ ਤਾਰੇ ॥ ਨਾਮ ਉਚਾਰ ਤਰੀ ਗਨਿਕਾ ਸੋਈ ਨਾਮ ਅਧਾਰ ਬੀਚਾਰ ਹਮਾਰੇ ॥੧੦॥
The Lord-God is Primal, Beginningless and unfathomable; stories are current about Him redeemed Dhruva, Prehlad and Ajamil; by remembering His name even Ganika was saved and the support of His name is also with us.10.
ਜਾਹੀ ਕੇ ਨਾਮ ਪਰਤਾਪ ਹੂ ਤੇ ਧਰੂਅ ਸੋ ਪਰਹਲਾਦ ਅਛੈ ਪਦ ਪਾਯੋ ॥ ਸੋ ਅਬ ਮੋ ਸੰਗ ਜੱਧ ਕਰੈ ਜਿਹ ਸਰੀਧਰ ਸਰੀ ਹਰਿਨਾਮ ਕਹਾਯੋ ॥੧੬੮੯॥
And with Glory of whose name Dhruva and Prahlad attained eternal state, that Lord should fight with me."1689.
