Banwait

The Banwait or Banvait or Banait is a sub clan of the Saini caste found in the Mohali, Ropar, Doaba and Punjab regions in India. The hierarchy of castes in Punjab varies by the region. In the Doaba region of Punjab, Sainis are ranked at the top and are a highly affluent and influential group. The word banait is also mentioned in the Dasven Padshah Da Granth, meaning a well-dressed soldier or warrior.^[1] n England: Banwaits are owning dealerships/ film production house/ hotels/ business/ professionals.
