Baba Kaladhari, the 9th Descendent of Guru Nanak Dev and Guru Gobind Singh ji (the spiritual ninth 'light' of Guru Nanak Dev, had deep respect and love for each other. Once Guru Gobind Singh ji sent word asking for Baba Kaladhari to come to his court at Una Sahib, from Dera Baba Nanak. They used to interact with each other and with passage of time they both got affectionately attached to each other. While Guru Gobind Singh ji was in Anandpur Sahib, Baba Kaladhari used to start toward Anandpur sahib, from Una, to meet GURU SAHIB as GURU SAHIB had left his place to meet Baba kaladhari. Guru Gobind Singh ji blessed Baba kaladhari telling him he would one day be blessed with a tejasavi (an energetic, brilliant, bright, extraordinary) grandson who would take up the accomplishment of GURU SAHIB's tasks in the future.

It is mentioned in golden history that his tejasavi - Baba Sahib Singh ji struggled for the, tomb of the khalsa Empire, whose foundation had been laid by Guru Gobind Singh ji. Infact it was Baba Sahib Singh ji, who in 1801 on the day of visakhi, baptised Raja Ranjit Singh ji as the Maharaja (Great King/King of Kings/Emperor) of the 12 Sikh misls, the leader of the Khalsa Raj or Khalsa Kingdom/Empire.
