travels of I.S. Issard, i would say yes Guru Nanak clearly visited the area. But yet as he describes the beauty in many words, how could he then describe any part of Gods creation as '''God forsaken''' had not he just said that the Buddhists had long traveled through the area since thousands of years ago. My thought was to alter that  but as it was his writing i didn't. i assume the S of I. S. Issard is standing for Singh as he states he listens clearly when Guru Nanak's name is mentioned. Sorry on a soapbox wondering why someone who Guru Gobind Singh meant to stand out so clearly by their dress and appearance would use the initial S. and speak of '''a God forsaken place'''. Guess we are all human and if he is still alive i should ask him. i guess i think of the Himalayas as one of the Vaheguru's most beautiful places. just venting my anger, rather than going to sleep with it. goodnite[[User:Allenwalla|Allenwalla]] 22:33, 10 November 2007 (MST)
