Going by this TRUTH of that time, close phonatic association of the Gurbani word 'murat',with that in use even today (moorti pooja, moorti sthapan etc), it may not be wrong for us to understand the meaning of 'murat' as 'IDOL' ALSO (depending upon the context, of course)
