The sources which refers Mata Jito and Mata Sundri are seperate personalities are Gur Partap Suraj granth by bhai Santokh Singh, Twarikh Guru khalsa Giani Gian Singh, Bansavalinama Dasan patshahiyan Ka by Kesar Singh Chibber, Mahankosh By Kahn Singh nabha, Encyclopedia of Sikhism by Harbas Singh of Patiala University, Memorial related to marriage at Guru ka Lahore, Memorial Related to Death at Anandpur.

But still some modern Sikhs claims that Guru Gobind Singh have only one marriage and mata Jito and mata sundri both are same. They give the reason that mata gujar kaur gave mata jito with name sundri as she was very beautiful and this was tradition of punjab, but if it was so why such great PUNJABI historians didn't wrote these facts or should we say were they so illetrate of punjabi culture? they wrote huge granthsa and don't know about punjabi culture which seems me quite foolish to say that they ignored
Second thing under SGPC there's gurdwara sahib called Gurdwara mata Jito Ji at anandpur where last rites of mata ji was performed and Mata sundri ji last rites were performed at Gurdwara bala Sahib Delhi.
