Mata Damodari, the daughter of Narain Das of village Talla, is said to be the mother of Ani Rai, Bibi Viro and Baba Gurditta.

Gurdwara Daroli Bhai, Dist. Firozpur (near which the descendants of Guru Hargobind and his wife Mata Damodari still reside) contains some rare personal belongings of Guru Hargobind as well as a handwritten copy of the Sri Guru Granth Sahib that also bears the personal seal of Guru Gobind Singh.

Some says Guru Hargobind Ji was married to one wife, who was Mata Nanaki ji which is highly unlikely. These same people claim that Satguru Gobind singh jee also had only one wife but it is a proven fact that he had 3 wives.

The quote below applies only to the Sikhs and not their Satgurus who were the incarnation of the almighty lord.

eikaa naaree jatee hoe, par naaree dhee bhain vakhaanai.
Having one women as his wife, he (the Sikh) is a celebate who considers any other man's wife as his daughter or as his sister."
(Vaar 6, Bhai Gurdaas Ji (The contemporary and Maternal Uncle of Guru Arjan Dev ji)
