Jagriti Yatra at Kathua

Jagriti Yatra at Kathua: The procession to celebrate the 300 years of Guruship of Guru Granth Sahib called the "Jagriti Yatra" which was scheduled to visit Kathua on 7th of April, could not reach on time.The sikh sangat and the other communities eagerly waited for the whole day and night. The yatr finally reached Kathua on 8th April at 07:00 am.

There was much celebration and reverence for the Guru's procession in this gateway to Jammu state town. After the celebrations, the procession corterge proceeded for Punjab at 12:30pm. Kathua is the largest city of the Kathua district in Jammu and Kashmir.
